Meet Altheia & Tiffany
Fun Facts About Altheia:
I love listening to 70s and 80s music, including my favorite artists such as Elton John, The Bee Gees, and Ambrosia.
I am an avid animal lover. I currently have an energetic maltipoo named Aiden. I have had two pets to cross the rainbow bridge: a German shepherd (King) and a Yorkshire terrier (Abby).
I enjoy watching the Investigation Discovery channel (ID). My second career would definitely have been a Forensic Scientist.
I’m happily married to the best husband anyone could ask for. I have one beautiful daughter that has given me the best gift ever…. My 1st grandson; just know that I’m obsessed #granzie&zemizoo
My favorite scripture and words of wisdom are Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways, acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Altheia Bass-Seldon
I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner in the states of Georgia and New York. I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Troy University in Troy, Alabama. I then pursued further interest in nursing, receiving my Doctoral Nursing degree from Troy University and graduating with honors.
In my nursing career, spanning close to 30 years, I have worked several subspecialties to include primary care, urgent care, oncology, neurology, and functional medicine.
My desire to practice in the medical field began around the age of ten. This desire grew stronger when my father experienced a sudden brain aneurysm, in which he underwent a craniotomy. The daily visits to the hospital were fascinating to my eyes as I watched the medical team do what they do best in providing the care my father needed to survive this urgent, life-threatening illness.
I am an active member of several professional organizations, to include the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Georgia Nurses Association. I am also a published author in medical research.
My primary focus in caring for my patients centers on prevention and getting to the root cause of illnesses rather than simply covering them up with a band-aid. With a gentle and focused bed-side manner, I am compassionate and attentive to my patients’ needs. As an advocate, I not only hear what my patients say, I actively listen and help them achieve the best plan for their immediate and long-term healthcare needs.
Prior to co-founding Bass Comprehensive Wellness Care, I established my own practice, serving and assisting diverse patients with urgent care needs, chronic pain, and neuropathy.

I am a dog mom to a feisty mini dachshund, Toni.
I enjoy watching Dr. Phil.
I am the proud mom of two sons and one grandson.
My favorite quote, by none other than Dr. Phil, is: “The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior.”

I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia. As a helping professional, I have more than 14 years of experience in diverse clinical settings, including outpatient community mental health, residential youth rehabilitation, and serving as director of Families and Schools Together, a national program focused on parent empowerment and family bonding.
I received a Master of Science Degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University in Phenix City, Alabama in 2008.
My drive to serve others stems from my lived experience as a young mother. I am a proud mother of two phenomenal young men. As a natural nurturer and encourager, it was amazing to mold and engrave a level of emotional intelligence into my sons that I could also instill into others. While education has played a vital role in my success as a counselor, I also possess characteristics such as empathy, motivation, effective communication, self-regulation, and self-awareness that enhance my ability to help others.
My clinical vision is to provide a safe place for clients and their families to experience their vulnerabilities while sharing their narratives. My area of focus is treating the whole family as I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples.
